How it works

UV-C around 253.7 nm can inactivate microorganisms by damaging their nucleic acids. The cabinet relies on direct UV-C exposure, so items should be arranged with enough space around them and should not be stacked tightly. Shadows and hidden contact surfaces may receive a lower dose.

Safety & material compatibility

Do not open the cabinet during an active UV-C cycle. Do not look directly at an operating UV-C lamp. Use only for materials suitable for UV-C exposure and follow the supplied instructions.

Repeated UV-C exposure can affect some plastics, rubbers, colours, coatings and sensitive materials over time. If material compatibility is uncertain, test on a non-critical item first.
